QUICK ANSWER
To add FeedbackDots to WordPress, install a header and footer code plugin such as WPCode, add the FeedbackDots script as an HTML snippet in the Footer (body end) location, enable it site-wide, and clear any page or CDN cache.
STEP BY STEP
How to install FeedbackDots on WordPress
- 01
Copy your FeedbackDots snippet
Create a free FeedbackDots project and copy the script tag from its install page. Your key is already in it.
- 02
Install a code plugin
Install a header/footer code plugin such as WPCode, or edit your theme footer.
- 03
Add the snippet to the footer
Add the snippet as an HTML/JavaScript snippet in the Footer / Body End location.
- 04
Enable, save, and clear cache
Enable it site-wide, save, then clear any page or CDN cache.
- 05
Allow your domain and test
Add your WordPress site’s domain to Allowed origins in project settings, then open the live site and submit a test report.
WORDPRESS TIPS
- Prefer a plugin over editing footer.php directly, so a theme update does not wipe the snippet.
- On WordPress.com, installing plugins needs a plan that allows plugins.
- If you use a caching plugin such as WP Rocket or LiteSpeed Cache, purge it after saving.
WHAT YOU GET

FAQ
FeedbackDots for WordPress, answered.
Do I need a WordPress plugin for FeedbackDots?
There is no dedicated FeedbackDots plugin to install. You paste one script tag using any header and footer code plugin, such as WPCode, or add it to your theme footer before the closing </body> tag.
Will FeedbackDots work with Elementor, Divi, or a block theme?
Yes. Because the script loads site-wide from the footer, it works with any page builder or theme that outputs a normal page.
The feedback button is not showing on my WordPress site. What should I check?
Make sure the snippet is enabled and set to run site-wide, purge your caching plugin and CDN, and confirm your domain is listed in Allowed origins in your FeedbackDots project settings.
Is FeedbackDots free to try?
Yes. The Starter plan is free to try with 1 seat, 25 tickets per month, and 1 domain, and no credit card is required. Starter includes the API and MCP server with up to 1,000 requests a month, and support is through the docs. The Pro plan is $49 per month for unlimited tickets, up to 10 seats, up to 3 domains, surveys and feature requests, integrations, and email support.
What does each feedback report include?
Each report includes the visitor’s note, an annotated screenshot, the page URL, console logs, device and browser details, and a session replay recorded by the widget.
Where do reports go?
Reports appear in your FeedbackDots dashboard. If you connect Linear or Slack in project settings, each new report can also open a Linear issue and post a Slack message with a link back to the full report.
